Brûléed Grapefruit with FAGE Total

1 cup FAGE Total 5%, 2%, or 0%

½ vanilla bean, seeds scraped

2 large Ruby Red grapefruits, halved

4 tbsp of Turbinado sugar

  1. Cut the vanilla bean in half. In a medium-sized bowl, combine the FAGE Total and vanilla bean seeds. Mix well and set aside.
  2. Cut the grapefruits in half. Top each grapefruit half with 1 tbsp of sugar. To caramalize the sugar, if using a blowtorch, cook the top of the sugar until it is fully melted and forms a deep golden-brown coating, approximately one minute.
  3. Alternatively, you can use a broiler to caramelize the sugar, keeping an eye on the broiler to avoid burning, approximately one minute.
  4. To serve, dollop with the FAGE Total and vanilla bean combination.
