New Recipe: Sour Cream Mashed Potatoes
Reawaken your favorite mashed potatoes with daringly simple FAGE Sour Cream – so velvety and delicious they complete any holiday meal.
Ingredients:
- 3-pounds Yukon potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch chunks
- ¾ cup whole milk
- ¾ cup FAGE Sour Cream
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chives (optional), chopped
Cook Time: 30-35 minutes
Directions:
- Fill a large pot with water and potatoes. Cover and bring to a boil. Then lower heat to a simmer. Cook for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are easily pierced with a fork.
- Drain potatoes in a colander and place into a large mixing bowl.
- Using a paddle, mix potatoes with milk, sour cream, butter, salt and pepper on medium speed until fluffy. Do not over-mix.
- Top with chives before serving.
