Turkey Burger with FAGE Total Avocado Spread

A succulent dish perfect for dining al fresco.

Turkey Burger:
1 lb ground turkey (not 100% turkey breast meat)
½ small onion, grated
1 clove garlic, minced
½ tsp ground cumin
½ tsp ground black pepper
½ tsp kosher salt
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Dijon mustard
¼ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
2 tbsp fresh cilantro, minced
¼ cup FAGE Total, FAGE Total 2% or FAGE Total 0%
Pack of burger buns
FAGE Total Avocado Spread:
2 ripe avocados
1 lime, juiced
¼ cup FAGE Total, FAGE Total 2% or FAGE Total 0%
1 tbsp fresh cilantro, minced
¼ ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Turkey Burger: In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, onion, garlic, cumin, black pepper, kosher salt, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, cayenne pepper (optional), cilantro and FAGE Total. Fold ingredients of mixture into the ground turkey until combined well. Cover and chill the turkey burger mixture for an hour.
  2. Once chilled, divide mixture into fist-sized burger patties. Set aside for cooking.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Prep the grill with oil or nonstick pan spray.
  5. Cook turkey burger patties over medium-high heat for approximately 10 minutes on one side. Flip and repeat. Cook until the center of the turkey burger registers at 165 degrees on a thermometer.
  6. FAGE Total Avocado Spread: Slice avocados in half and peel skin off. Chop into large chunks and set aside.
  7. In a medium bowl, combine the avocado, lime juice, FAGE Total, fresh cilantro and ground cumin. Mash with a fork until desired consistency is reached. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Place turkey burger on a fresh bun with the FAGE Total Avocado Spread and enjoy!

    Serving suggestions: Top with any cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions or cucumbers.
