Greek Yogurt Alfredo Sauce
Skip the cream with this light alfredo sauce that’s delicious and protein-packed.
3 tablespoons butter
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 cup ½ cup FAGE Total 5%, FAGE Total 2% or FAGE Total 0%
Salt and pepper to taste
Serve with pasta or pasta alternative like zucchini noodles
Optional add-ons: parsley, spinach, asparagus, lemon juice
- In a medium saucepan, melt butter at low heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
- Add parmesan and yogurt and whisk for a smooth consistency. Thin out with water if sauce is too thick. Simmer at low heat for 2-3 minutes, adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve immediately on top of your favorite pasta or pasta alternative like zucchini noodles.
