Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Muffins

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1 teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar

3 ripe small-medium size bananas, mashed

1 cup FAGE Total 0%, 2%, or 5%

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup chocolate chips

    Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line muffin tins with cupcake liners and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the creamed butter and mix well.
  5. Add bananas, yogurt, egg, and vanilla extract and mix until well combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips and scoop batter into the lined muffin tin, filling each well almost to the top of the well.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes in the middle rack till golden brown and a toothpick inserted into the muffin comes out clean.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
