Quick Greek Yogurt Everything Bagels

Breakfast just got better.

Ingredients

8 bagels

 

For the Bagels:

2½ cups all-purpose flour

4 tsp baking powder

1 tsp fine sea salt

1½ cups FAGE Total 5%, FAGE Total 2% or FAGE Total 0%

½ cup water

1 egg

2 tsp honey

 

For the Everything Seasoning:

1 tbsp poppy seeds

1 tbsp sesame seeds

1 tbsp dried garlic flakes

1 tbsp dried onion flakes

1½ tsp fennel seeds

1½ tsp flaky sea salt

    Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 375℉. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Bagels: In a large bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Add FAGE Total and water and stir to combine. Knead the dough briefly until smooth. If needed, add a little more flour or water if the dough is too wet or dry.
  3. Turn out the dough onto a lightly floured countertop and divide into 8 pieces. Roll each piece into a ¾” thick rope, and bring the ends together, pressing them together. Widen the hole in the center slightly.
  4. In a small bowl whisk together egg and honey with 2 tsp water until smooth. Brush bagels with egg mixture.
  5. Everything Seasoning: In a small bowl mix together poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic flakes, onion flakes, fennel seeds, and salt. Sprinkle bagels with this mixture.
  6. Bake until browned and set, about 30 minutes. Transfer to a rack to cool completely.
  7. Serve warm or at room temperature. Store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
