Kebabs with Spicy Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

Spicy Yogurt Sauce

1 cup FAGE Total 5%, FAGE Total 2% or FAGE Total 0%

2 teaspoons chili garlic sauce

1 juice of lemon and zest

½ cup dill, chopped

1 tablespoon olive oil

Pinch of cayenne

Salt and pepper to taste

Kebab Marinade

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 tablespoon lemon juice

2 teaspoons garlic salt

2 teaspoons paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

Kebab

½ pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into large chunks

½ pound top sirloin or tenderloin, cut into large chunks

1 red, 1 green, 1 yellow pepper, cut into chunks

1 red onion, cut into 4 chunks

2 zucchinis, thickly sliced

2 yellow squash, thickly sliced

½ cup colorful cherry tomatoes

    Steps
  1. In a large bowl whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic salt, paprika, salt and pepper. Separate marinade into 3 bowls, place chicken in one, meat in one, and vegetables in the other. Let it sit at room temperature and marinate for 20 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl whisk together yogurt, chili garlic sauce, lemon juice, zest, dill, olive oil, cayenne, salt and pepper until well incorporated.
  3. Set grill to high heat.
  4. Alternate skewering chicken, peppers, onion, zucchini, squash, tomato, and beef – until all ingredients are skewered.
  5. Turn grill down to medium heat and add kebabs.
  6. Grill for 2-3 minutes, turn and repeat until each side is well cooked through.
  7. Serve with pita and spicy yogurt sauce.
