Greek Yogurt Alfredo Sauce

Swap in Greek yogurt for an extra rich and creamy Alfredo Sauce.

Ingredients

8-ounces Fusilli pasta 

2 tablespoons butter

1 ½ teaspoons garlic, finely minced

½ cup pasta water

1 cup FAGE Total 0%, 2%, or 5%

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded 

Toasted Italian breadcrumbs 

Parsley, chopped

    Steps
  1. In a large pot, add a heaping tablespoon of salt to the water and bring to a boil.
  2. Add pasta and cook until the pasta is al dente.
  3. Remove ½ cup of pasta water and reserve for later use. Drain the pasta.
  4. In a large pan over medium heat, add butter and garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  5. Add pasta water and heat for an additional 2 minutes.
  6. Lower the heat to low and whisk in yogurt, salt, and pepper stirring constantly for an additional 2 minutes.
  7. Add the pasta and parmesan cheese to the pan and mix until the pasta is well coated.
  8. Top with toasted breadcrumbs and parsley.
