New Recipe: Brussels Sprouts with Sour Cream & Bacon
Consider this the only Brussels sprouts recipe you'll ever need! Brussels sprouts and bacon elevated with all-natural FAGE Sour Cream.
Ingredients:
- 6 bacon strips, diced
- 1-pound Brussels sprouts, trimmed and cut in half
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 red onion, sliced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Sour Cream Dip:
- 1 cup FAGE Sour Cream
- 1 lime, juiced
- ¼ cup cooked bacon, crumbled
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Cook Time: 20-25 minutes
Directions:
- Heat a large pan on high heat.
- Add bacon and cook for 3 minutes. Add Brussels sprouts and olive oil and cook for an additional 10 minutes. Add red onion, salt and pepper and cook until onions are tender, and Brussels are crispy and browned.
- In a medium size bowl, whisk together sour cream, lime juice, bacon, onion, and garlic powder and salt.
- Serve Brussels sprouts with sour cream dip.
