Sour Cream Crab Dip

Looking for the perfect dip? Look no further! This Sour Cream Crab Dip will be an absolute hit and can be enjoyed with everyone’s favorite snacks. It’s cheesy, creamy, savory, and not at all fishy. The crab brings a beautiful sweetness that perfectly contrasts the sour cream’s tartness.

Ingredients

8 oz. cream cheese, softened

½ cup FAGE Sour Cream

¼ cup mayonnaise

1 ½ cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, divided

1 Tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 Tablespoon cajun seasoning

½ teaspoon kosher salt

1 lb. lump crabmeat

1 bunch scallions, thinly-sliced, whites and greens separated

Crusty bread, tortilla chips, crackers and/or crunchy veggies, for serving

    Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whip the cream cheese using a rubber spatula until lightened and fluffy.
  3. Fold in the FAGE Sour Cream, mayonnaise, 1 cup of the cheddar cheese, lemon juice, cajun seasoning, and salt until well combined.
  4. Using a rubber spatula, mix in the crab and scallion whites and light green parts (reserving the dark green parts for topping).
  5. Transfer to an oven-safe baking dish and top with the reserved ¼ cup cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, until warmed through and the cheese is bubbling.
  7. If desired, increase the oven temperature to broil and broil on the upper oven rack until the cheese is golden brown, about 2-3 minutes more.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving alongside breads, chips, crackers, and crunchy veggies!
