Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour, divided

2 tablespoons sugar

1 package active dry yeast

1 teaspoon salt

1 cup FAGE Sour Cream

¼ cup water

2 tablespoons unsalted butter

2 eggs, divided

1 cup shredded cheddar

3 tablespoons chives, chopped and divided

Flakey sea salt

    Steps
  1. In a stand mixer bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt using a paddle attachment. Set aside.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the sour cream, water, and butter on medium heat until it reaches 125-130 degrees Fahrenheit.
  3. Add the sour cream mixture to the dry ingredients and beat on medium speed for about 2 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining cup of flour and 1 egg to the dough and mix for another 2-3 minutes to form a smooth and stretchy dough.
  5. Change the paddle to a dough hook attachment and add the cheddar and 2 tablespoons chives.
  6. Knead the dough with the hook for about 6-7 minutes and place into a greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and keep in a warm place for 1 hour or until the dough has doubled in size.
  7. Punch down the dough on a clean lightly floured surface. Divide the dough into 15 pieces and roll each dough into a ball. Place the balls onto a greased 8x11-inch pan.
  8. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rest for another 30 minutes in a warm place.
  9. In a small bowl, beat the remaining egg and brush the top of the rolls. Top with the remaining 1 tablespoon of chives and flakey salt.
  10. Bake at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
